It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Faye Hood of Spokane, Washington, born in Russellville, Arkansas, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Gray and Hester Lipe Gray; and her brothers, Leon Gray and Paul Gray. She is survived by: her children, Pati Melvin, Pam Laude of Spokane Valley, Renee Landry of Oklahoma City, Jeffrey Hood of Post Falls and Michael Hood of Del City. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 5 granddogs, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her wish was that donations be made to the St. Jude Cancer Center for Children.
