He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar McClanahan and Bernis McClanahan; his sister Nora Ann Pickens; his son-in-law Larry Gay; his child Drucilla Borunda McClanahan; and his pet Buttons.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Housam McClanahan; his children, Sandra Pass (Joe), Cathy Smith (Kevin), Pamela Gay, Dennis McClanahan and Debra Fountain (Jerry); and his siblings, Eugene McClanahan of Clinton, TN, Ray, Ruth Branton of Walland, TN, Delsie Milsaps and Faye Bowlin. He is also survived by six stepchildren, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
