He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eugene Schmit and Pauline Schmit; his wife Linda Schmit; and his children, Megan Schmit of Spokane, WA., Kim Webb of Spokane, WA., Pamela Rather of San Antonio, TX. and Christopher Schmit of Spokane, WA.. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
