He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lloyd Atkinson and Rosella Tipke Atkinson; and his niece Tammy Ebright (Hubert). He is survived by: his wife Trudy; his children, Jim Atkinson (Marnette) and Gwen Welch (Steve); his grandsons, Kellogg Atkinson, Laurence Atkinson, Dylan Atkinson and Spencer Welch; his sister Jacque McGowan; his uncle Frank Atkinson; his niece Kelli Shannon (Tom); and his nephews, Mike Dennis (Marjie) and David Dennis (Nichole). He is also survived by his children, grandsons and friends.
