He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Prouty and Erma Prouty; his siblings, Richard, Herbert and Darlene; and his wife Joyce.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Joyce Ellen Crampton; and his children, Lisa (Lynn Appleford), Ralph (Deb), Grant (Peg) and Amy Peterson. He is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
