She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph E. Spale and Bridget M. Spale (Tajchman); her husband Edwin Svoboda; and her siblings, Kenneth Spale, Gerald Spale, Joseph Spale, Thomas Spale, Donald Spale, Terrence Spale and Judy Svoboda.

She is survived by: her sons, Jim Svoboda (Susan) of Warrensburg, Bob Svoboda of Omaha and Mike Svoboda (Jennifer) of Palmdale, California; her grandchildren, Angel Svoboda of Houston, Dustin Svoboda of Nashville, Jessica Johnson (Tyler) of San Diego and Emily Parmer of Brooklyn; her great grandchildren, Eloise and Maddox; and her brothers, Fred Spale (Pam) of Fremont and Duane Spale (Jan) of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
