She was predeceased by: her parents, Viggo Mortensen and Imogene Mortensen; her son Bruce O'Dell; her great grandchild Abigail VerValin; her niece Jill Biggs; her nephew Christopher Inzano; her sister Lynn Muschong; her half-sister Karen Marisch (Norbert Haines); and her sons-in-law, Jimmy Lonas and John VerValin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Ortez, Lora Hudson (Mike Hudson) and Jennifer Lonas (Nick Oscarson); her grandchildren, Catherine O'Dell Minnis and Rashell VerValin; her daughters, Jennylee Lonas and Joelina Moore (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Briar, Shelby, Kaitlyn, Lillian, Gavin, Evelynne, Oliver and Viggo; her siblings, Kaj, Paul, John Mortensen and Jean Inzano; and her nieces and nephews, Shawna, Miley, Michael and Eric.
