He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bauer and Lucille Bauer. He is survived by: his wife Marylin James; and his sons, Patrick (Debbie), Michael (Annella), Scott, Todd and Timothy (Sheri). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
