He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sidney Smith and Marion Smith; his siblings, Stacy and Catherine; his wife Ethel; his children, Jeff (Kim), Mark Smith and Jodi Smith-Vessels (Steve) of Spokane, WA.; his grandchildren, Scott, Kayla, Angela Smith, Sam and Max Vessels; and his great grandchildren, Jett and Rosie Smith. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Contributions in his memory may be made to Kindred Hospice and to the Millwood Presbyterian Memorial Fund.
