She was predeceased by: her parents, Milan McMains and Anna McMains (Richard "Dick" Kassa); her sister Anna Rae Burke; and her son-in-law Mike Day. She is survived by: her husband Dick; her children, Gina Day Rennie (Paul), Dan Kassa (Naching), Amy Elliott (Kip), Isaac Kassa and Stephanie Bailey (Curtis); and her grandchildren, Tara McCanna, Mike Day, Calli Lou Girnus, Charlie Elliott, Joshua Kassa, Stephya Kassa, Emmit Kassa, Morissa Kassa and Gavin Bailey. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, multiple brother and sisters in law, nieces, nephews and cherished extended family.
She crocheted hundreds of Afghans to donate to St Joseph Long Term Care, the VA nursing homes, and Spokane Missions.
