He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Budd and Esther Budd. He is survived by: his wife Paula Budd (Thieke); his children, Santanna Hawkins (Jason O'Haver) of Kokomo and Cody Allen Budd (Molly) of Kokomo; his stepparents, Bronar Cook of Frankfort and Carolyn Budd of Greentown; his stepsister Betty Little (Tom) of Greentown; his siblings, Christina Goshern (Greg) of Tennessee and Steven Budd (Elvie) of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Victoria Hawkins, Jayson Hawkins, Alexis Hawkins, Graiison Budd, Cayah Budd, Demi Budd, Cali Nunnally, Addison Wood and Easton McCauley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
