“Marilyn had the uncanny ability to speak the truth without being harsh. One day she volunteered to come to my house to help with decorating and furniture arranging. I was wondering what else I might need to buy to complete the “look”. After touring my house including the filled store rooms in the basement, she announced that I could go shopping at my own house! I have laughed at that observation many times when I’ve been inclined to buy what I might not need!!”
