With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie Jessie Bot of Spokane, Washington, born in Great Falls, Montana, who passed away on September 11, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry Kohr and Jeanette Kohr (Urick); her former husband Carl Bjerke; her husband Leon [Doug] Bot; her sister Ginny Kemmer; her children, David Bot (Melanie) and Jayne Schlicht; her grandchildren, Melissa Ball (Chris), Aimee Kuhn (John), Tony Traver (Cheryl), Jonathan Bot (Suzanne), Sarah Foster (Blake), Andrew Bot, Aubrey Bot (Kirsten), Jordan Banister (Aaron), Jesse Schlicht (Jaide), Adrienne Bot, Ava Bot and Alessandra Bot; and her brother Thomas Kohr (Jan) of La Grande, OR.
They demonstrated superior caregiver skills mixed with love, compassion, and respect in an especially challenging covid period, keeping residents safe and families informed.
