He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Muncy Faris and Myrtle Irene Hawkins; and his sister Patti. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Dines; his children, Marnie, Melanie, Molly and Joey; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Cole, Hanna, Sophie, Mason, Ellie and Isabella.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to St. Jude's Research Organization.
