She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Thompson and Bertha Thompson (Bench); her husband Floyd Lester Powell; her sons, Richard and Dennis Powell; and her sisters, Edna Neeley, Jeanie Mann and Helen Hulette.
She is survived by: her son Ron Powell (Jan); her granddaughter Tracy Floyd; and her great grandchild Jared.
