He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Mortlock and Brownie Mortlock; his former wife Janis Mortlock; his father-in-law Rod Thew; his brother Dan Mortlock; and his brother-in-law John Ortner.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Heeter; his stepchildren, Tim Heeter, Kelly Warren (Steve), Matt Heeter (Michelle), Jeff Heeter (Jenny) and Amy Mack (Steve); his children, Treasure McLaughlin (Chris), Caleb Mortlock (Sarah) and Taylor Mortlock (Sarah); his mothers-in-law, Janice Thew and Nita Wiggins; his siblings, Judy Ortner, Dave Mortlock (Nancy), Gary Mortlock (Rhonda), Rick Mortlock (Maureen), Pete Mortlock (Donna), Becky Manning (Russ), Tim Mortlock and Philip Mortlock; and his brothers-in-law, Mike Thew (Judy), Jerry Thew (Janet), Dan Thew (Diana), Scott Wiggins and Mark Wiggins. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren.
