It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Augustin Malloy (Spokane, Washington), born in Olympia, Washington, who passed away on February 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William A. Malloy and Mabel Ida Hardy Malloy; his former wife Julia Gregor; his children, Marlene O'Dea (Pat), Pat Malloy, John Malloy (Susie), Dan Malloy (Wendy) and Mary Lou Ryan (Dan); his siblings, Julijeanne and Jim Malloy; and his wife Juel. He was also cherished by seventeen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great grandchildren.

Some of the more notable donations spearheaded by Leonard and Idaho Veneer Co. included land for the Post Falls Fire Dept., substantial amounts of building materials for the covered picnic area at Q'emiln Park, the Post Falls Senior Center, and the Post Falls High School announcers' booth.
