He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Holm and Rev. Paula Holm; his brother Kerry Holm; and his wife Elizabeth. He is survived by: his daughter Keeley Sandven; his son-in-law Randy Sandven; his grandchildren, Raleigh, Shelby Strickland, Branen, Dani and Chrissy Sandven; and his stepchildren, Brittany and Christopher.
He had a passion for helping people and donated to many charities such as various children's fundraisers, Meals on Wheels, the National Wildlife Foundation and political campaigns to name a few.
