With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Muriel Shears of Spokane, Washington, who passed away on January 27, 2021 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor VanTuyl; her brother Dennis VanTuyl; and her son Keith Shears. She is survived by: her husband Richard Shears; her brothers, Cliff and Gary VanTuyl; her children, Carrie Rawley (Garry), Connie Ward, Kurt Shears (Jan), Michael Shears and Dustin Shears; and her grandchildren, Wendy (Ray), Nathan, Dominic, Amanda (Andy), Candy (Billy), Krystal, Kimmie (Jayson), Suzi, Jessee, Dalton (Stephanie), Rayanne (Cody), Kelsey (Andrew), Collin, Adam (Tina), Brock, Ashley, Josh (Tish) and Michael Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
