She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred Woods and Lee Roy Woods; her siblings, Irene White, Judy Hicks and Bill Woods; her niece Lisa Frahn (Gary); her nephews, Joe and Roger Gottlob (Teri); and her husband Donald J. Gottlob. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Karen was deeply committed to volunteer work, serving in leadership roles within the PTA, American Heart Association, and other organizations.
