He is survived by: his wife Ann; his siblings, Roland Fritz (Susan), Fern Allen of Jamesburg, NJ and Madeline Yuhas of Southhampton, NJ; his children, Madeleine Krell (Ed), Marie-Christine Rosenthal of Spokane, WA, Joseph Fritz, III of Spokane, WA, Larissa Cervantes (Nat) of Freehold, NJ and Bethanie Fritz of Arlington, WA; and his stepsons, Mark Jones (Anne) of San Antonio, TX, Brad Hollenbeck (Linda) of Bella Vista, AR and Brian Hollenbeck of Spokane, WA. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
