As John W. departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John W.. Though John W. may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Ostin and Marie Ostin; and his brother Gary Ostin. He is survived by: his wife Claudine Ostin; and his children, Lori Marotti and Jason Ostin. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many loving family members and dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Funeral and Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel (7200 N Wall St, Spokane, WA 99208).
