He is survived by: his mother-in-law Kathy Wells (Lacefield); his wife Kathy; his children, William "Tex", Shaun, Jennifer, Susie, Barbara and Richard; his grandchildren, Abigail, Matthew, Kevin, Katie, Melissa, Allison, Willie, Waylon, Rachel, Rebecca, Joshua and Evan; and his brother Alan Kent Wells.
