He was predeceased by: his parents, Melba Wills and Richard Sullins; and his children, Denny and Denine. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his children, Daniel, Michael, Shawnee, Jolene and Vickie; his aunt Jewel; his brothers, Jimmy and Craig; and his half-sister Jean Ann. He is also survived by spouses and many cousins, 26 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
