He was predeceased by: his parents, John Byrne and Rose Byrne; his wife Connie; and his siblings, Seamus, Brian, Derry, Pat, Kevin, Ita, Roisin and Betty.
He is survived by: his daughter Nona Byrne; his grandchildren, Nicholas Black, Caitlin Black (Ray White), Ryan Black, Madison Stoltz (Logan) and Braeden Brown; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Caileigh and Silas White; and his sister Maria Kerr. He is also survived by in-laws, nephews, and nieces.
