With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan K. Karnes (Spokane, Washington), who passed away on March 1, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Seward and Annabelle Seward (Allie); her husband James R. Karnes; her brother Donald Seward; and her sister-in-law Deb Seward.

She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Wayne Karnes (Marcia), Michael Allen Karnes (Michelle) and James "Jimmy" Brian Karnes (Melissa); and her brother James Edward Seward (Debbie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren.
