It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Durante (Spokane, Washington), born in Colfax, Washington, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dell Mitchell and Edith Mitchell; her brother Bill Mitchell; her daughter Sylvia Durante; her brother David Mitchell; and her son-in-law Jock Swanstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Eileen Swanstrom (Jock), Steve Durante and Cynthia Erickson (Cliff). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in Joan's honor to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest.
