It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Crandell Ryker in Spokane, Washington, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Wesley D. Hood Jr. (Mike Larkin); and her nephew Steve Pontius. She is survived by: her husband Brian D. Ryker; her grandchildren, Wesley D. Hood III, Tabitha Marie Hood Wyatt and Evan S. Hood; her stepchildren, Michael Larkin, Christopher Larkin, Karen Sawyer, Laurie Gouin, Erik D. Ryker and Michelle Ryker Batsford; her stepgrandchildren, Sean and Stephanie Thiesfeld-Hood; her daughter-in-law Christy Hood; her sister Marilyn Crandell Pontius; her nephews, Tim, Jerry and John Pontius; and her daughter Marianne Hood.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Hills Fellowship Church, or Ogden Hall in Spokane, Washington.
