He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bud" Stier and Jean Stier; and his wife Patricia Lee "Trish" Stier. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Johnson (Rob); his granddaughters, Eileen, Margaret and Hannah; his son Jim Stier (Jenny); his grandchildren, Josephine and Jeffrey; and his siblings, Bob Stier (Ann) and Becky Seltmann (Wes).
