He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nunn and Gertrude Nunn; his stepson Ryan; and his granddaughter Cheyenne. He is survived by: his wife Jannice K. Nunn; and his children, James Arthur Nunn Jr. and Ana-Jeanice L. Nunn. He is also survived by 2 step-children; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
