He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Thornton and Una Thornton; and his sister Geri Lane. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Thornton; and his children, Joseph (Susan), Jill (Dave) and Jackie. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
