He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Rieckers and May Rieckers (Darringer); his wife Carol Rieckers; his daughter Saundra Shaulis; and his grandson Robert Looney.
He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Johnson; his daughters, Sharron Looney of Vancouver, WA and Diana Deal of Post Falls, ID; his grandchildren, Jason McDonough, James McDonough, Britton Deal (Meagan), Brandon Deal (Jennifer), Bevin Jonas (Gary), Becky Swarms and Vicki Kayton; and his niece Althea Statum. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
