He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Salvador Rubio Morales and Carmen Rodriguez Silva; and his son Eric Dikran. He is survived by: his daughters, Claudia Ani (Leel Peesapati) and Cristina Karine (Nick Lee); his wife Alyce; his son Scott Handleman (Carli Cutchin); and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Dylan, Syra, Siddhartha, Thaddeo, Olive and Lilly. He is also survived by many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.
