He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Birch; and his father Clarence. He is survived by: his children, Richard Birch (Teresa), Linda Edwards (David) and Lloyd Birch; and his brothers, Denton Birch, Dennis Birch and Dean Birch. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of friends.
