He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George W. Cooper and Laura G. Hollands Cooper; his wife Sarah Jean Merryweather; and his sons, John Merryweather Cooper, Matthew Richard Cooper and Thomas Winston Cooper. He was also cherished by his wife, his three sons, and six grandchildren.
