He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harkin and Mary Harkin; his former wife Clara Rogers; and his siblings, Patricia Rusconi, Barbara Brezina and John Harkin.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; and his stepdaughters, Teresa Webber (Rick), Kathy Engstrom (Jim) and Margaret Gooding. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
