He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Olga Signora Hammer and Everett John Armstrong; his wife Joyce Anderson; his children, Candace Armstrong Mumm (Steve), Joel Armstrong (Kristen) and Kristin Armstrong Orozco (Juan); his stepchildren, Steve Van Vliet (Remy), Scott Van Vliet, Shari Sivret and Shana Weisner (Corey); his grandchildren, Amanda Lasko (Jason), Madison Peterson (Tanner), Emily Hangartner (Jacob), Morgan Armstrong and Arianna Orozco; and his great grandchildren, Parker, Makenna Peterson and Luke Lasko. He was also cherished by two nieces and three nephews.
