It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar Vye Smith Jr. (Spokane, Washington), who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar V. Smith, Sr. and Olga C. Marchioro. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lee; his children, Debra Woolman (Bruce), Kimberly Slovarp (Randy) and Jason Smith; his siblings, Marilyn Richards, David (Molly), Michael (Sandy) and Robin Smith; and his former wife Eileen Arsenault. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, cousins, numerous nieces and nephews, and lifelong, very close friends.
The family will be providing funeral flowers, so alternatively, we suggest calling your local florist to send a bouquet to a loved one; or in lieu of flowers, the family requests you consider donating to Gonzaga Prep in memory of Edgar V. Smith.
