She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barrett and Catherine Barrett of Maryhill, WA.; her brothers, Frank and Robert Barrett; her husband Walt; and her son Joe Kerst.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Ted Kerst and Walter Abel; her children, Pat Kerst, John Kerst and Alicia Reid (Matt); and her grandchildren, Austin, Kennedy and Walker.
Any donations can be made to Shriner's Hospital, where Donna spent 8 months when she was 13 years old, or to Hospice of Spokane.
