He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rodney Waite and Neoma Allen Waite; and his stepfather Grady Harris Stockton. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Waite; his children, David Waite, Darrell Waite (Michelle) and Catherine; his granddaughters, Crystal and Kara; and his stepdaughter Judy Zimmerman (Steve). He is also survived by five step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
