He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Smith and Anna Smith; his former wife Janet Walter; his wife Mavis Wolff; and his siblings, Bill, Ben Smith and Irene Marchand.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Weishaar (Tom), Colby Smith (Mario Padilla), Sidney Smith (Polly), RoxAnn Sherwood (Ron) and Mark (Denys). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
