She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Alice; her parents, Verne Fussel and Roland Hamilton Dean; her husband Harry Eckert; her sons, Dennis Buchanan of Sanford and Kristian Eckert of Spokane Valley; her siblings, Sandra Steele, Jim Dean and Doug Johns; her granddaughters, Amy and Billie; and her great grandchild Liam.

The family suggests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to Meals on Wheels, where she previously volunteered or the charity of your choice.
