He was predeceased by: his wife Cheryl; and his brother Jack Copenahaver. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Copenhaver Fellows (Fred), Jeff Copenhaver (Sherry), Guy Copenhaver (Vallesha), Kellie Copenhaver Hurt (Fred) and Matt Copenhaver (Kalo); his grandchildren, Fabienne Fellows Averill (Brian), Shandy Copenhaver Stromberg (Cody), Madeline Hurt Recker (Jeff), Benton Hurt, Machaella Copenhaver Hauge (Justin), Elizabeth Copenhaver and Beau Copenhaver; and his sister Norma Echelbarger. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
