He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine Mossuto; and his siblings, Ted, Herman, Chester and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his children, Tom (late Jan), Patti (David) and Alice (Jim); and his granddaughter Fianna (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“I met Cecil while doing car swap meets with Sandy Olson and have many happy memories of my times with him. How he could eat such a large steak, tell stories and just be a good friend. I stopped by to visit with him last year and had a short fun visit, with him telling stories. One of those was about the bill from Sandy, if you don't know the story you should ask Sandy about it.
