He was predeceased by: his parents, James Otto Holmes and Eva Mae Walt Holmes; his former wife Barbara Ann Starkey; his wife Gladys Wycoff Brewer; his granddaughter Sheilla Holmes; and his siblings, Ed, Dorothy Holmes, Larena, John Daniel, Ramona and Gale Plato.
He is survived by: his children, Cecelia (Mike) and Don; his grandchildren, Rob Stephens (Kelly), Michelle Fox (Andy), Derek Holmes (Jessica), Lance Holmes and Clayton Holmes; and his great grandchildren, Christine, Natalie Stephens, Cooper, Madison, Zander, Sofia Fox, Aiden, Ethan, Jocelyn Holmes, Sage, Andrew and Hazel Holmes.
