She was predeceased by: her father George B. McLeslie; her brother Gary Hostetter; her mother Violet Hostetter; her stepfather Orville Hostetter (James); her son Michael; and her siblings, Judy Chewing, Donald and Jack McLeslie.
She is survived by: her husband James P. Purkett Sr.; and her sister Connie Dubreng. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 23 Great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
