She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Pierce and Betty Pierce; her husband Melvin; her sons, Rodney and Todd; and her siblings, Charlotte Olmstead, Chuck and Fred Pierce.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Melynda Maki, Tera Brulotte-Maki (Randy), Tim Floyd (Alissa) and Toby Floyd (Becca); her great grandchildren, Tessla and Trevor Floyd; her daughter-in-law Cindy Maki; and her siblings, Ralph Pierce (Sally) and Patti Marie Buchignani (Len). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
