She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wallen and Lavina Wallen; her husband Lt. Colonel Gordon A. Bailey; her daughter Mary Margaret; and her siblings, Arlene, Margaret and Richard Earl Wallen.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amy and Cynthia; and her sister Ellen. She is also survived by six granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
