He was predeceased by: his parents, Margurite Shovelier and Basil Shovelier; his sisters, Ethyl and Ann; and his wife Marie Rose "Aline" Shovelier.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Paul of Waitts Lake and Paul Shovelier (Jill). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
