He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Lawr and Alma Marie Lawr (Ogden); his wife Marlene Jean Lawr (Seccomb); his siblings, Bill Lawr, Jack Lawr and Zella Gouvion; his daughter Barbara; his son-in-law Bob Stansbury; and his grandson Joey Hoeper.

He is survived by: his children, Terri Luce (Scott), Karen Riggan, Sandi Gill and Ray Lawr (Vicky); his grandchildren, Suzanne Harris, Bobby Stansbury, Nichole Luce, Hailey Riggan, Brynden Riggan (Simona), Marena Riggan, Sidney Riggan, Jonathan Lawr (Tate), Spencer Lawr and Paige Lawr; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Aguirre, Tucker Harris, Kirsten Harris, Silvia Lawr, Strider Lawr and Octavia Riggan.
